It’s about 15 minutes away from Dripping Springs so it’s not far away.
The Safari House was clean and away from the other houses.
There is a BBQ pit next to each house and a shared outdoor fire pit which we had used to cook s’mores under the stars (amazing views if you’re into stargazing).
There is wifi available however if you are trying to stream Netflix or Hulu, that will depend on how many people are using it.
You can still check emails and other small tasks though so it wasn’t a big issue.
Side note, you should consider getting a Texas State Park pass because this location is close to three state parks!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the tranquil getaway and with three other couples at this place during our stay, the only time we saw them was when we were all at the pool.
All amenities needed are provided (towels, coffee, water, toiletries for showers, etc).
The only true downside was the walk to the bath house for the restrooms but this was still only a 2-3 minute walk from our tree house (and we were well aware of this having already researched it ahead of time).
The staff was very accommodating at check-in and very thorough in explaining their process.
This is a great place to get away and unplug for a night but you’re still only a 10 minute drive from great restaurant/bar selections and Uber was actually available for those trips.” – Robert B
