Best in Texas – HoneyTree Treehouses

HoneyTree’s Fredericksburg stays have their own personalities, so choose the individual treehouse that fits your plans. The options below span different HoneyTree settings, including The Meadow. Outdoor bathtubs, indoor soaking tubs, reading nooks, and pet policies vary by unit; the five stays are separate bookings.

Acorn Treehouse

• Location: Fredericksburg, Texas
• Sleeps: 2
• Pets: No
• Bathing: Rain shower and outdoor bathtub

Acorn Treehouse is the HoneyTree pick for travelers who want the climb to be part of the fun. A sweeping staircase leads to the king-bed hideaway and outdoor bath, with another outdoor space reserved for rooftop stargazing. A daybed, macrame swing, and clay fire pit turn that upper patio into a good reason to keep the evening free.

Why We Picked It: The rooftop patio and outdoor bath give Acorn Treehouse a distinctive romantic rhythm, with the king bed and kitchenette covering the everyday comforts.

Worth Knowing: Expect several flights of stairs; the main floor sits about ten feet above ground.

---

Leaf Treehouse

Leaf Treehouse has a gentler kind of drama: a padded reading nook framed by a round window, a king bed, and an outdoor bathtub high on the upper deck. The kitchenette and propane grill make it easy to stay in for dinner after exploring Fredericksburg. It is a compact choice for two people who want their Hill Country weekend to include plenty of unhurried time together.

Why We Picked It: The round-window nook and elevated bathtub make Leaf Treehouse memorable without filling the space with distractions.

There is a hammock outside, a round-window reading nook inside, and a record player beside the upstairs king bed. The outdoor soaking bathtub overlooks nature, creating a leisurely finish to a day around Fredericksburg. The layout feels designed around lingering rather than rushing out the door.

Why We Picked It: The open-to-the-deck living space gives Live Oak Treehouse an especially appealing connection to its surroundings, with thoughtful corners for reading, music, and soaking.

Worth Knowing: The outdoor tub is a soaking bathtub; do not assume a conventional jetted hot tub.
