The three-bedroom property also offers air conditioning, internet, a barbecue and outdoor gathering spaces.
Why We Picked It: The waterfall, river access, hot tub and extensive outdoor activities make this one of the most memorable family-friendly treehouses near Dallas. Plus a % of the revenue goes towards a local food bank, so you can know that you are giving back by booking this Texas tree house.
Worth Knowing: The property is around an hour from central Dallas, and some ranch activities may depend on the weather and river conditions.

Savannah’s Meadow
Savannah’s Meadow rises three stories above its peaceful countryside setting. Its unusual design includes a full kitchen, comfortable living space and an elevated sky lounge where guests can relax among the trees.
The spacious layout makes it a stronger choice for groups than many of the compact couples-only treehouses around Dallas. There is also outdoor space for spending time together away from the city.
Why We Picked It: Its capacity, three-story design and floating lounge make Savannah’s Meadow one of the most distinctive group accommodations near Dallas.
Worth Knowing: Celeste is a rural destination, so guests will need a car and should purchase groceries before arriving.
Most Romantic – The Tyler Tree House
- Location: Winona (90 min to Dallas Texas)
- Sleeps: 2
- Pets: No

Why We Picked It: Its private setting, inviting porch and intimate two-person layout give it the atmosphere of a classic romantic treehouse getaway.
Worth Knowing: Winona is farther from Dallas than several other properties in this guide, making this better suited to a dedicated countryside break than a city sightseeing trip.
Best for Adventure – Magical Treehouse on the Brazos River with spiral slide off the deck
- Location: Weatherford Texas (1 hr from Dallas Texas)
- Sleeps: 8

Guests can go tubing, kayaking, paddleboarding and hiking or visit the resident farm animals. The house includes a kitchen, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and a screened dining area.
Why We Picked It: Few treehouses combine space for eight guests with a slide, hot tub, river activities and an extensive private ranch.
Worth Knowing: The property is designed for an active countryside vacation. Availability of tubing and other river activities may depend on water levels and weather conditions.

Why We Picked It: Its peaceful atmosphere, pet-friendly policy and proximity to Dallas make this an accessible option for a simple weekend escape.
Worth Knowing: The bathroom is located in a separate communal bathhouse, and the rural Wi-Fi connection can be weak. This is better for unplugging than working remotely.
