This cedar shake tree house is nestled in the canopy of native Indiana Persimmon Trees and a Black Walnut with a veranda overlooking the main animal pasture and incredible views of the wildflower gardens.

This romantic retreat is the perfect escape from downtown yet is only a 10 minute commute into the heart of the city.

The veranda has a tiki thatch awning and overlooks the main animal pasture where you’ll see goats, sheep, turkeys, dogs and chickens all living in harmony.

Inside the tree house is a lofted full size bed that guests must climb up a standard height ladder.

There is also a couch that pulls out flat into a sleeper mattress underneath the loft of the bed.

The kitchenette has a coffee maker, refrigerator, pots, pans, flatware, plates, bowls and a dual hot plate to cook on.

There is A/C and Heat in the tree house along with a fan for comfort.

Guest review: “It’s hard to top a story that begins with “I slept in a treehouse last night.”

This was one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had.

The bed was comfortable. The AC worked great.

I was able to cook myself a nice breakfast in the kitchenette, complete with farm fresh eggs right from the coop.

The back patio looks out over the pasture given you a great view of all the goats, turkeys, chickens and sheep on the property.

The front patio has a wonderful sitting area literally up in the trees while also providing another spectacular view of the rest of the property (the barn, crops, and bonfire area.

Plenty of privacy and a very gracious host.

Such a cool experience.
